- Cool to a safe serving temperature before feeding.
Texture tip
- 6-7 months: Keep it smooth and spoonable.
- 8-9 months: Make it slightly thicker as baby handles texture.
- 10+ months: Serve thicker with soft fruit mashed in.
Nutritionist note
Sprouted ragi is a familiar calcium-rich grain, and a small amount of beetroot powder makes the porridge visually inviting.
Parent tip
Add fruit puree after cooking so the fresh fruit taste stays mild and pleasant.
Parent note: introduce new foods one at a time, adjust texture for your baby’s readiness, and check with your pediatrician for allergies, medical conditions, or feeding concerns.
