Made with

Sweet Potato Sprouted Ragi Mix

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Live Indianly Sweet Potato Sprouted Ragi Mix
  • 180 ml water
  • 1/2 tsp ghee, optional

Method

  1. Add the mix and water to a pan.
  2. Whisk until smooth and lump-free.
  3. Cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes, stirring continuously.
  4. Adjust with warm water if a thinner porridge is needed.
  5. Turn off the heat and cool to a safe serving temperature.
  6. Stir in ghee if using and serve warm.

Texture tip

  • 6-7 months: Keep the porridge smooth and slightly runny.
  • 8+ months: Cook it a little thicker for spoon practice.

Nutritionist note

Sweet potato, sprouted ragi, and yellow moong dal create a familiar Indian base for smooth early meals.

Parent tip

For babies under 1 year, add breast milk or formula only after cooking once the porridge has cooled to warm.

Parent note: introduce new foods one at a time, adjust texture for your baby’s readiness, and check with your pediatrician for allergies, medical conditions, or feeding concerns.
