Sweet Potato Sprouted Ragi Pancakes

Made with

Sweet Potato Sprouted Ragi Mix

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Live Indianly Sweet Potato Sprouted Ragi Mix
  • 1/2 ripe banana, mashed
  • 3-4 tbsp water, milk, or curd
  • 1/2 tsp ghee

Method

  1. Mash the banana until smooth.
  2. Add the Sweet Potato Sprouted Ragi Mix.
  3. Add water, milk, or curd little by little to make a thick pancake batter.
  4. Rest the batter for 5 minutes.
  5. Heat a pan on low flame and grease lightly with ghee.
  6. Spoon small pancakes onto the pan.
  7. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until fully set.
  8. Cool slightly and cut into soft strips.

Texture tip

  • 8-9 months: Serve very soft strips that squish easily between fingers.
  • 10-12 months: Offer small pieces for pincer-grip practice.

Nutritionist note

Banana helps bind the batter and keeps the pancakes soft without adding refined sugar.

Parent tip

Keep the pancakes small so they cook through evenly and stay soft.

Parent note: introduce new foods one at a time, adjust texture for your baby’s readiness, and check with your pediatrician for allergies, medical conditions, or feeding concerns.
