Made with

Oats Makhana MilletBeetroot Powder

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Live Indianly Oats Makhana Millet Mix
  • 1/2 tsp Live Indianly Beetroot Powder
  • 1/2 ripe banana, mashed
  • 3-4 tbsp milk or water
  • 1/2 tsp ghee, optional

Method

  1. Mash the banana until smooth.
  2. Add the Oats Makhana Millet Mix and Beetroot Powder.
  3. Add milk or water little by little to make a thick pancake batter.
  4. Rest the batter for 5 minutes.
  5. Heat a pan on low flame and grease lightly with ghee.
  6. Spoon small circles of batter onto the pan.
  7. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook until fully set.
  8. Cool slightly and serve as small pieces or strips.

Texture tip

  • 8-9 months: Serve very soft strips that squish easily between fingers.
  • 10-12 months: Offer small pancake pieces for pincer-grip practice.
  • 12+ months: Pair with plain yogurt or fruit for a fuller breakfast.

Nutritionist note

Beetroot adds a naturally bright color, while banana helps keep the pancakes soft without added sugar.

Parent tip

Add a little grated apple when you want extra moisture and natural sweetness.

Parent note: introduce new foods one at a time, adjust texture for your baby’s readiness, and check with your pediatrician for allergies, medical conditions, or feeding concerns.
