Pumpkin Khichdi Bowl

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Live Indianly Brown Rice & Moong Dal Mix
- 200 ml water
- 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
- 1/2 tsp ghee
Method
- Add the Brown Rice & Moong Dal Mix and water to a pan.
- Cook on low flame until soft and fully cooked.
- Add the pumpkin puree and mix well.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in ghee and serve warm.
Texture tip
- 6-7 months: Blend until smooth and lump-free if needed.
- 7-8 months: Mash lightly and keep a slightly thicker texture.
Nutritionist note
Pumpkin gets its bright orange color from beta-carotene, which the body converts into vitamin A.
Parent tip
You can substitute pumpkin with carrot or sweet potato puree for variety.
