Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Live Indianly Whole Wheat and Almond Mix
- 1 cup (240 ml) water
- Breastmilk or formula (optional)
Method
- Add Live Indianly Whole Wheat and Almond Mix and water to a pan.
- Mix well until smooth and lump-free.
- Cook on a medium flame, stirring continuously.
- Once it begins to thicken, reduce to a low flame.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
- Turn off the heat and allow it to cool slightly.
- Stir in breastmilk or formula if using.
- Serve warm.
Texture tip
- 6-7 months: Add a little extra water for a thin, smooth consistency.
- 8-9 months: Keep slightly thicker to encourage texture acceptance.
- 10+ months: Serve thicker or mix with mashed fruits and vegetables.

Repeated exposure to different textures during the first year can help babies become more accepting of a variety of foods as they grow.
Parent tip
For added variety, mix in mashed banana, apple puree, pear puree, pumpkin puree, sweet potato puree, or avocado after cooking.
