Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Live Indianly Whole Wheat & Almond Mix
  • 1 tbsp grated carrot
  • 1 tbsp grated bottle gourd
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • Water as needed
  • Ghee for greasing

Method

  1. Mix the Whole Wheat & Almond Mix, vegetables, and curd into a thick batter.
  2. Grease small steel cups or idli moulds.
  3. Fill each mould three-quarters full.
  4. Steam in an idli steamer for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Cool slightly and remove from moulds.
  6. Serve warm.

Texture tip

  • 8-9 months: Crumble into small soft pieces.
  • 9-12 months: Serve whole as finger foods.
