Sprouted Ragi Banana Porridge
A gentle ragi recipe for clean Indian baby food routines from 6m+.
Ingredients
- 2 tsp sprouted ragi flour
- 1 cup (240 ml) water
- 3-4 tbsp mashed banana
- 1/2 tsp ghee
Method
- Mix the sprouted ragi flour with 3 tbsp water to make a smooth paste without lumps.
- Add the remaining water and mix well.
- Cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Turn off the heat and allow it to cool slightly.
- Add the mashed banana and ghee.
- Mix well and serve warm.
Texture tip
- 6-7 months: Keep smooth and slightly runny.
- 7-8 months: Leave a little texture from the mashed banana.
