Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Live Indianly Oats Makhana Millet Mix
- 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) water
- 1/2 tsp ghee
- Steamed and mashed vegetables
- Breastmilk or formula (after cooling)
Method
- Add the Oats Makhana Millet Mix and water to a pan.
- Mix well until smooth and lump-free.
- Cook on a low to medium flame, stirring continuously.
- Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the porridge thickens and is fully cooked.
- Turn off the heat and allow it to cool slightly.
- Add any optional add-ins if desired.
- Serve warm.
Texture tip
- 6-7 months: Keep the porridge smooth and slightly runny.
- 8-9 months: Make slightly thicker and add mashed vegetables for texture.
- 10+ months: Serve thicker and include soft mashed vegetables or fruits.
