Moringa Vegetable Cheela Fingers

Made with

Moringa Powder

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup besan
  • 1/4 tsp Live Indianly Moringa Powder
  • 2 tbsp grated carrot
  • Water, as needed

Method

  1. Mix besan, Moringa Powder, grated carrot, and water into a smooth batter.
  2. Rest the batter for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan on low to medium flame.
  4. Pour small cheelas and cook both sides until fully cooked and soft.
  5. Cool slightly and cut into strips.

Texture tip

  • 10-12 months: Keep the cheela soft and cut into long strips.
  • 12+ months: Cut into bite-size pieces if your toddler prefers them.
  • Toddlers: Serve with plain yogurt or beetroot yogurt dip.

Nutritionist note

Besan adds plant protein, and moringa gives the cheela a gentle green color.

Parent tip

Cook on a lower flame so the inside cooks through before the outside browns.

Parent note: introduce new foods one at a time, adjust texture for your baby’s readiness, and check with your pediatrician for allergies, medical conditions, or feeding concerns.
